The new Maserati Quattroporte is fitted with a 4.2 litre V8 engine which is capable of producing 405 bhp and powers the car to excellent performance figures for a luxury saloon: a top speed of 167 mph and a 0-62 mph acceleration time of 5.6 seconds. The cars feature the 6-speed automatic transmission developed in association with ZF which provides startling handling and seamless gear changes.
